What is BGP and why does it matter?

The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is the fundamental routing protocol of the Internet. It lets organizations with their own Autonomous System Number (ASN) announce their IP prefixes to the global network, with full control over how traffic reaches their infrastructure.

95th percentile billing: how it works

The 95th percentile model samples your bandwidth every 5 minutes through the month. The top 5% of samples are discarded and billing is based on the highest remaining value, so occasional spikes do not raise your monthly cost. At €0.25/Mbps you can scale up to 5 Gbit/s.

What is BGP and why do I need an Autonomous System?

Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) interconnects independent networks across the Internet. To peer with us you need your own ASN (RIPE, ARIN or APNIC), or ask us about ASN sponsorship for testing.

Can I announce my own IPv4 / IPv6 prefixes (BYOIP)?

Yes. Bring your own prefixes via AS 211138. Minimum /24 for IPv4 and /48 for IPv6. We require a valid LOA and matching RIR records.

BGP Session Addon vs 95th percentile billing?

The addon ships with your VPS/dedicated server, ideal for low-traffic announcements and testing. 95th percentile is professional IP transit up to 5 Gbit/s, billed on the 95th percentile at €0.25/Mbps.

Do you offer Anycast announcements?
